Creative Assembly has been working since 2018 on a science fiction FPS of which there are hardly any details.
His announcement is reluctant to arrive, and the good words about the project by those responsible do nothing more than increase the expectation around the sci-fi first person shooter action game where Creative Assembly works. Thus, the creators of Alien Isolation have spoken about the shooter, guaranteeing that it doesn’t look like anything they’ve done in the past.
In the absence of more specific details, several promises. According to Alistair Hope, creative director at the British team, the video game has a great attention to detail and authenticity, as well as a strong commitment by the Creative Assembly to understand the source material. Unfortunately, it is unknown what that starting point is, although they refer to production as a new IP.
“It’s our new IP, it’s a world that we’re creating and obviously we’re working hard and really we want everything to be perfect“, comments Rob Bartholomew, product manager, who also stresses the importance of authenticity.
What else do we know about the Creative FPS
Although the video game has not yet been officially presented, the statements and job offers from Creative Assembly and SEGA allow us to associate more information with the work. For example, it seems that the shooter will bet on Unreal Engine 5 as the graphics engine. Also, news broke in 2019 that Neill Blomkamp, recently recruited to helm a Gran Turismo movie, was recruited for the project.
A multiplayer bet on the signing of one of Destiny’s most veteran designers is also not ruled out, but we will have to wait to clarify the matter. Lastly, we also know of SEGA’s desire to release a triple-A super game.
