Vucic: Germany will not allow the adoption of a resolution at the UN on genocide against the peoples of the USSR
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, against the backdrop of the UN General Assembly’s approval of the resolution “on genocide in Srebrenica” during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina in July 1995, assessed the possibility of adopting a resolution on genocide against the peoples of the USSR in World War II. He expressed confidence that Germany would not allow this to happen. This is what he’s talking about told on TV Prva.
“Most definitely, genocide against the Soviet people will be on the agenda. And how will they then explain that this is not genocide, that the murder of 20 to 27 million people is not genocide?” – the Serbian leader wondered.
In his opinion, Germany will not allow the adoption of a corresponding resolution.
Earlier, Vucic recalled the words of USSR Marshal Georgiy Zhukov about the ingratitude of the West for liberation from fascism. The Serbian leader noted that he is not Marshal Zhukov, but “a little man, the elected president of a small but freedom-loving country.” He also promised to do everything to preserve the honor of Serbia.
