Among some changes that were mentioned regarding the aforementioned procedures, Uscis revealed that the three have a rate change and that now the value that must be paid to carry out each of them is different. Specifically, the cost of the aforementioned immigration procedures determined by the United States entity are the following:
- Form I-130request from a foreign relative: US$675.
- Form I-360Amerasian, widower or special immigrant petition: US$515.
- Form I-824request for action on an approved application or petition: US$590.
In addition to the rate adjustment, Uscis reported that the update of the guidelines includes some clarifications about how the procedures are processed and what the applicant should expect in particular circumstances.
