Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Presidential Cabinet, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association, and the follow-up of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, the fifth championship competitions will begin tomorrow. For the Emirates World Cup for Arabian Horses for the 2024 season, at the Danish National Equestrian Center in the Wilhelmsburg region.
A group of Arabian horses from Denmark and European Union countries participate in the tournament. It is considered the fifth Emirates World Cup for Arabian Horses, and the second in Europe, and is held in conjunction with the 2024 Wilhelmsburg International Championship.
The Emirates World Cup for Horse Camels was launched last September, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the follow-up of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, and includes 10 tournaments held in countries from the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Australia, South America and North America, in coordination with the competent authorities in These countries have allocated lucrative financial prizes to the winners of the first five places in each tournament.
It is noteworthy that the first championship of the Emirates World Cup for the 2024 season was held last February in Australia through the Australian International Arabian Horse Championship 2024 at Willinga Park in the Pawley Point area, while the Kingdom of Bahrain witnessed the second championship, which was held in Manama from 14 to 16 last March. The American city of Scottsdale witnessed the third championship, which was held in conjunction with the Breeders’ World Cup last March as well, while the fourth championship was held on June 1 at the “Le Grand Parque” equestrian arena in the French city of Fontainebleau.
