The animated series of Isekai Ojisanknown in the West as Uncle From Another World and available in Italy in simulcast via Netflix, is interrupted indefinitely. The reason would be the uncontrolled spread of COVID-19 infections within the studio that produces the anime, Pontdarc Atelier. Production is stopped for at least the entire month of September.
This is not even the first of the problems that Uncle From Another World is facing, given that even in August the broadcast of the episodes was postponed more than once. The producers confirm that in the month of September in Japan will be broadcast only reruns of the episodes already available, from the third to the sixth, without revealing when the next ones will be available.
For the moment, production of Uncle From Another World is suspended indefinitely. Below you will find the synopsis of the series, which we have already talked about in our article in which we have urged you to recover it.
“Seventeen years ago Takafumi’s uncle fell into a coma, but now he’s back, like a man raised from the grave. However, Takafumi will soon discover two bizarre things: his uncle loves video games above all else and, while in a coma, he actually lived in another world, as a heroic guardian. Not only will Takafumi have to live with an uncle who now possesses boundless magical powers, but he will also have to help him recover two decades of history: smartphones, high-speed internet, modern architectures of anime and the traumatic outcome of the console war that has been going on for years. ’90 between SEGA and Nintendo. “
