Ukraine: Zelenski has a car accident without serious injuries

Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky was involved in a car accident last night in kyiv. in which, after being treated by a medical team, it was seen that he had not been “seriously injured”, his press spokesman, Sergii Nykyforod, reported on his Facebook account on Thursday.

The official did not explain, however, what type of injuries the president may have suffered, who was treated at the scene of the collision precisely by members of the medical team who travel with him regularly.

“In kyiv, a car collided with that of the President of Ukraine and escort vehicles. Doctors accompanying the head of state provided emergency aid to the driver of the car and transferred him to an ambulance,” the message reads.

According to the press spokesman, the accident occurred in the early hours of this morning and its circumstances will be investigated by the authorities.

Some local agencies and publications on social networks have shown the first images of the accident site.

They are photographs taken by eyewitnesses that show police, fire and ambulance vehicles on one of the streets of the Ukrainian capital that has not been identified by the authorities.
