Trump’s assistant Natalie Harp controls what the former president hears and from whom. She is once again playing an important role in the election campaign.
New York – Natalie Harp (32) is a close confidante of Donald Trump and has earned the nickname “human printer” in his campaign team. She is responsible for printing the numerous documents that the former president likes to handle. She always accompanies Trump with a portable printer, paper and spare batteries. Even on the golf course, where Trump pursues his favorite hobby, Harp is with a specially equipped golf cart, including laptop and printeralways at his side.
Her position allows her to control to a certain extent what information Trump receives. Therefore, she is of great importance. An anonymous source who has already passed information on to Trump in this way told the US news portal The Bulwark: “If you want the President to see something, Natalie is the best way.”
“Human printer” Harp suffered from bone cancer: Trump’s law is said to have saved her
But who is this young woman known as the “Human Printer” and the key to Trump’s ear? Harp has had an unconventional and steep rise. She comes from a Christian conservative family in California. In 2015, she was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer. She has stated publicly several times that it is thanks to Trump that she can now live with the disease. She claims that Trump’s 2018 “Right to Try” law, which facilitates access to experimental treatments for the terminally ill, saved her from stage II cancer after two failed chemotherapy treatments.
However, health experts doubt, according to the WashingtonPost that Trump’s law had an impact on her treatment. Harp herself stated that she was treated with an immunotherapy drug that was approved by the US Food and Drug Agency, but not for this specific use. The WashingtonPost states that this would have been possible even before the Right to Try law.
Since her appearance at the 2020 Republican National Congress, Harp has been an ardent Trump supporter
Nevertheless, Harp spoke at the Republican National Convention in the 2020 election year, expressing her gratitude to Trump and her disdain for the Democrats: “The Democrats love to talk about how healthcare is a human right. But a right to what?” Harp asked. “I’ll tell you. To them, it’s a right to marijuana and opioids and the right to die with ‘dignity’ – a politically correct way to say ‘give up’ at best and assisted suicide at worst.”
After supporting Trump’s unsuccessful election campaign, Harp moved to the far-right news channel as a presenter One America News Network (OANN)which has been Trump’s favorite station since the election. At that time, the right-wing conservative station FoxNewsthe former president’s previous favorite, fell out of favor with him because he had spread the 2020 election results, but not Trump’s lie about the stolen election.
Harp may be responsible for the “United Empire” video on Truth Social
With Trump’s current presidential candidacy, Harp began to engage with him again and gave up her job as a presenter. With Harp now constantly closer to the ex-president than ever before, she may be responsible for his latest faux pas. Trump’s Truth social account shared a video outlining the future after his hypothetical victory in the upcoming US election and referring to a “united empire”. The video was met with heavy criticism and was eventually removed.
A Trump spokeswoman officially stated that an unnamed “junior employee” posted the clip while the former president was sitting in a New York courtroom for his hush money trial. The Bulwark However, citing anonymous sources, reports that this person could be Harp, who is one of the few who has access to Trump’s personal Truth Social account.
