One image sparks the hype of Tony Hawk fans.
The welcome reserved for the re-edition of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater And Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 from Activision and Vicarious Visions was, to say the least, very positive. These are two well-remembered classic skateboarding games, bundled together in the new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 remaster. Not surprisingly, Tony Hawk fans are hoping that Activision has plans for further remastered versions in the future. And if a new rumor is believed, their hope could turn into reality.
For Christmas and last Halloween, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater’s official Twitter account shared a kind of greeting card with fans. For Christmas, we see a skull-faced Santa Claus shouting “Jolly ollies everyone !!” and for Halloween, there’s a skeleton skater doing a trick on a graveyard. What is of specific interest in these images, however, is an equation repeated in the background as if it were an easter egg. The equation says “12 <312“and has no given context.
While there is no specific context for the equation, it should be obvious why fans are reading the hidden message. The “12” could be read as Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, the “<" could be seen as "is less than" or as "is leading to" and the "312" could refer to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, a remastered version or some sort of bundle of the first three games in the series.

In any case, these are simply hypotheses, so we just have to wait for official news.
