The UAE participated in the twenty-fourth meeting of the undersecretaries of the ministries of justice in the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, which was held in the city of Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a delegation headed by His Excellency Eng. Abdul Rahman Muhammad Al Hammadi, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice. During the meeting, a number of issues related to strengthening joint legal cooperation between the ministries of justice in the GCC states were reviewed, including the draft development agreement for the implementation of judgments, rogatory commissions and judicial declarations in the GCC states, and the agreement for the extradition of accused and convicted persons between the GCC states and the extraction of legislative principles contained in the laws / regulations / The Committee of Directors and Heads of Training, Legal and Judicial Centers and Institutes in the GCC States, and the Draft Law / Unified Law to Combat Extremism, Racism, Hatred and Discrimination. The meeting also discussed the report of the meetings of the committee of officials of the departments of international cooperation and international relations in the ministries of justice in the GCC countries for the year 2022 AD. The state delegation participating in the meeting included His Excellency Judge Abdul Rahman Murad Al Balushi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for the Legal Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Justice, and Counselor Adel Abdullah Al Marzouqi from the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Justice.
