The terrifying clash of heads that left a player unconscious in the middle of the match

As could be seen in the broadcast of the meeting, defender Ian Escobar collided his skull against that of striker Iván Cazal in a play in which neither noticed the presence of the other.

Escobar collapsed after the blow.

Then, an ambulance had to go in to help him and remove him from the field.

As reported by the local media, the player suffered seizures and entered a state of unconsciousness.

“The shock was quite strong. Apparently he had a seizure and did not leave in good condition. Aldosivi players are in another and we are all the same. We are waiting for information with news from the hospital. I stopped instantly and didn’t want to get close.”said the referee Pablo Dóvalo, judge of the commitment.

According to the club, Escobar has already regained consciousness and is being treated at a hospital..

So far, no further details of his state of health are known.
