The author of the spam mails with the abbreviation “Holzer.BKA” as the director of the BKA, the authority announced on Friday in Wiesbaden. The recipients of the emails were accused of having accessed child pornographic material. In order to avoid an allegedly threatened punishment, you should comment on an email address with the ending “@ europamel.net”. However, the BKA warns against replying to such emails or opening a PDF document attached, as the document could contain malware. (dpa)
