The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the opening of registration for the scholarship program through its website for outstanding Emirati students to complete their academic journey and send them to one of the prestigious international universities, with the aim of specializing in fields that meet the needs of Emirati diplomacy and supplying it with Emirati cadres and a generation qualified at the highest levels, starting from June 1 to 30. June 2024.
The scholarship program aims to develop diplomatic leaders capable of positively influencing the international arena, and to provide scholarship students with the necessary skills and competencies to become pioneers and change makers in the UAE’s foreign policy, and to enable them to achieve unprecedented achievements in the diplomatic corps, by providing tools that help them excel and support their journey. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that those wishing to join the program should visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website https://www.mofa.gov.ae/ar-ae/scholarship to review the required documents and application conditions for admission to the program, which are: To be a citizen of the United Arab Emirates (holders of Emirati passport and family book) He must be at least 17 years old and no more than 22 years old, have the guardian’s approval, and be of good conduct according to a certificate from the relevant authorities approved in the country. The student must have a high school diploma with a grade of no less than 90. % or its equivalent, and has a certificate of proficiency in the English language (6.5 Academic IELTS) or its equivalent, and has obtained academic acceptance to study from the university (according to the list of universities and specializations approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
