The founder of Tanuki Orlov was released from criminal liability
The Presnensky Court of Moscow fined the founder of Tanuki, Alexander Orlov, 100 thousand. This is reported by TASS citing a law enforcement source.
It is noted that the criminal case against Orlov was dropped. He admitted guilt and fully paid off the damage before the case was heard in court. The restaurateur who founded the Tanuki and Ersh chains now needs to pay a fine within 60 days from the date the resolution comes into force.
Orlov was accused of points “a”, “b” of part 2 of article 165 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Causing especially large property damage by an organized group”). According to some reports, the criminal case against him was related to the scandal with the Black Star Fitness club in Moscow City. The landlord, Promtekhnocom, accused the management of the fitness room, which included Orlov: they deliberately did not pay the rent and began building a pool without approval. Now the sports club is closed and is in the process of bankruptcy.
