Miami.- Disney premiered this Wednesday a wedding dress that pays tribute to the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World and which consists of a limited edition model with more than 15,000 pearls and 3,000 crystals.
The model, which is part of the new annual collection that opens today The Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoonsthe program for weddings and honeymoons at the entertainment giant’s theme parks, also includes 152 meters of fabric and 118 meters of horsehair decorations.
A dress of this model will be given to the winner of “The most magical wedding dress contest in the world” that Disney has launched together with the television program “Good Morning America” of the American chain ABC.

The line of 25 wedding dresses that “captures the style and spirit of the Disney princesses”as noted in a statement Mundo de Walt Disneywere presented in a broadcast through the YouTube channel of the parks of Disneywhich featured models honoring classic Disney princesses like Snow White and Jasmine from the 1992 film “Aladdin.”
“This year, ‘Aladdin’ from Disney celebrates its 30th anniversary, while Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Disney’s first animated film, celebrates its 85th anniversary,” the statement recalled.
The 2022 collection, which includes models inspired by characters such as Cinderella, Pocahontas and Rapunzelwill be available in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom and Ireland, at a base price of $1,799.
The new line of wedding dresses is part of the novelties for this year by The Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons, service that is offered in Disney theme parks in the world, as well as in some ships of its cruise line, among which will be the Disney Wish, which will have its first trip on June 9.
“The (ship’s) Great Hall will feature a magnificent staircase, a glittering wishing star chandelier and an elegant royal blue and gold color palette,” the press release further elaborated.

The “Place du Remy” within the expanded France Pavilion at EPCOT in Florida is the latest addition to more than 50 wedding venues around Walt Disney World Resort, depending on the company.
