Video games have long been one of the many spaces for advertising products outside of the gaming world, and cars have also taken advantage of this. Now, in a new movie trailer, the official social profiles of Fortnite they confirmed that the Tesla Cybertruck will be released tomorrow, July 23, within Epic Games’ Battle Royale.
The trailer – which you can find below – did not show any gameplay, however it did allow us to see in detail the official look of the Cybertruck in the game, while towing some heavy vehicles.
The new trailer clarifies that “some optional content requires purchase and/or gameplay to unlock.” Actual prices were not shown. However, fans can guess the cost based on previous similar downloadable content.
The Cybertruck also in Rocket League
In a separate post on X, the Rocket League team also confirmed that the Cybertruck will be available tomorrow.
This announcement comes on the heels of a cryptic teaser recently released: the post only reveals an image of this new vehicle and doesn’t allow us to see it in action. We don’t know how much it will cost. At the moment, the developers have not provided any details on other potential themed cosmetics, so it is unclear exactly what the new pack has to offer and how customizable it will be (special items often cannot be mixed with other cosmetics). The vehicle looks a lot like its real-life counterpart in both games, but it is not difficult to achieve this result, given how sharp it is.
Finally, let’s remember that Rocket League has just celebrated its ninth anniversary. This coincided with a collaboration with Adidas and the Festival of Football event. Season 15 also kicked off last month with the new Nissan Fairlady Z vehicle.
