Swedish gangs|Rawa Majid and Ismail Abdo used to run the Foxtrot criminal gang together until the men’s relations cooled down.
of Israel according to the intelligence agency Mossad Iran has recruited two Swedish criminal groups to carry out terrorist attacks in Europe before the Paris Olympics.
As you know, it’s about the Foxtrot gang and the Rumba group competing with it. They are led by gang leaders who have become famous in Sweden, Rawa Majid and Ismail Abdo.
With a nickname The leader of the Foxtrot criminal group Rawa Majid, 38, known as the Kurdish fox, was born in Kermanshah, Iran, but his parents are Iraqi Kurds. The family moved to Uppsala, Sweden, when Rawa was one month old.
He was already convicted of drug offenses and dealing in stolen goods at a young age.
Majid, who was released on parole after a long prison sentence, received permission to move out of Sweden in the summer of 2018 due to the threat against him. Majid moved to Turkey and acquired Turkish citizenship through the so-called “Golden Visa” program. Majid started leading his Foxtrot group from Turkey.
As gang violence escalated in Sweden, the authorities demanded that Turkey extradite Majid back to Sweden. Foxtrot had a violent struggle against at least the Stockholm-based Vårby network and the Bandidos.
Threatened with extradition, Majid fled Turkey to Iran last September and was arrested by the Iranian police in October. According to Israeli information, he has been given the option of cooperating with Iranian intelligence or a prison sentence.
With a nickname Ismail Abdo, 34, the leader of the criminal group known as Mansikka, is from Uppsala, like Majid. He served as Majid’s right-hand man in the management of Foxtrot until last summer.
In 2016, Abdo was sentenced to five and a half years in prison for possession of illegal weapons and a serious drug crime. In the fall of 2022, he was suspected of smuggling one hundred kilograms of amphetamine.
The suspect could not be reached, because he had fled to the same country as his partner in crime, Majid, i.e. to Turkey.
Swedish television according to information, the relationship between “Kurdiketu” and “Mansika” became tense in Turkey when the men suspected each other of stealing drugs. Abdo founded his own network Rumba.
The showdown between Foxtrot and Rumba quickly turned into a gang war, where many other Swedish criminal groups had to choose sides. The leaders were in Turkey, but the blood feuds culminated in Uppsala on the sixth of September last year: Abdo’s 58-year-old mother was shot dead.
Turkey According to Turkish media, police arrested Abdo earlier this week in a random raid in Seyan, Adana Province, southern Turkey. Abdo, who was a passenger in the car, was wearing a bulletproof vest. An unlicensed pistol and 12 ammunition suitable for it were found on him.
The local court released Abdo last Tuesday on bail of 20,000 lira, or 570 euros, says Turkish Minute.
