The ministry will not decree prohibitions, but wants to fight against alcohol and junk food
The Ministry of Health will recommend restaurants to limit alcoholic beverages on their menus and promote healthy eating through them. This is one of the measures to fight against cardiovascular diseases, the leading cause of death in Spain. The department led by Carolina Darias has specified that these are recommendations and that “it does not contemplate prohibitions of any kind.”
