In the latest investor conference there was also space for Splinter Cell Remake.
In the recent earnings call among the executives of Ubisoft and investors, there was even room for a small parenthesis on Splinter Cellor rather, on remake of the first chapter, already announced in December completely surprisingly.
The aforementioned “small parenthesis” actually concerns the process of the work on the game, which if nothing else confirms that Ubisoft Torontothe studio that is driving its development, has had its hands completely in the pie since it finished the work on Watch Dogs Legion before and Far Cry 6 then.
We know the graphics engine will be used Snowdrop Enginethe same that we will see later this year used in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and coming soon in the game of Star Wars licensed to Ubisoft, but currently unknown; all these productions should be current-gen only, which is why there is a lot of expectation on the technical sector, and that of the Splinter Cell remake should make a lot of leverage ondynamic lighting.
The Toronto studio has already worked on a Splinter Cell, previously: Blacklistthe very last chapter released, in 2013.
