Colonel Al-Assam added that after confirming the accuracy of the information, the Sharjah Police anti-narcotics services began their monitoring and investigation operations, and based on the evidence and data received and close monitoring around the clock, one of the parties to the gang formation was arrested and they were in possession of (50) kilograms of hashish and (49) liters. From the liquid crystal, it turned out that they were receiving instructions from another person residing outside the country, and with the continuation of search and investigation operations, the control elements revealed the nature of the criminal scheme extending between countries, with the presence of activity by other parties that follow the same gang formation. They took a warehouse in one of the neighboring emirates as their secret headquarters to store poisoned materials, and accordingly, with a plan. Court: Sharjah Police were able to arrest the remaining members of the gang and seize (1 million and 170 thousand) pills of psychotropic substances.
He mentioned that the gang used two new methods to smuggle narcotic substances. The first was: exploiting a customs clearance company due to the nature of its work and illegally introducing psychotropic substances.
