In addition, the defense department reported that nine ATACMS missiles, two Hammer guided bombs, three Alder missiles and 61 drones were shot down.
A day earlier, the Russian army hit Ukrainian Su-27 and Su-25
On June 11, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported attacks on the Ukrainian supersonic heavy fighter Su-27 and attack aircraft Su-25.
Aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force were at the airfields.
Military correspondent Andrei Rudenko published footage of an Iskander missile system attack on an airfield in the city of Mirgorod, Poltava region. He noted that in this way it was possible to hit the Su-27s based there. According to the journalist, one of the aircraft does not belong to restoration and has been “turned into a sieve”; two more aircraft will take a long time to be restored.
Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly emphasized that the Russian military does not attack social facilities, residential areas or civilians. “This is what fundamentally distinguishes our military from the military of the Kyiv regime,” he said.
The Kremlin representative said that strikes are carried out on those objects that are directly or indirectly related to the Ukrainian military potential. He also called this the consequences of the reluctance of the Ukrainian authorities to “enter negotiations.”
