In Kamchatka, a commission will be created to resolve situations when a person has been ill with COVID-19, but has not consulted a doctor and cannot receive a certificate of the transferred disease. This was announced on Saturday, November 13, by the Governor of the Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov.
“I receive a lot of requests from people who have high levels of antibodies, they suspect that they have been ill, but their status is not recorded in the medical system, and they cannot receive a document of the established form about the disease they have suffered. I made a decision that in the near future we will create a medical commission that will consider such cases, ”he said during a live conversation with residents.
According to him, people with high levels of antibodies should be able to obtain a medical document. Solodov added that the medical commission will start working in the near future.
A day earlier, State Duma deputy from the Liberal Democratic Party, immunologist Sergei Leonov said that in Russia it is necessary to create an additional register of citizens who have antibodies to COVID-19, but who did not seek help from a doctor or were asymptomatic. He clarified that not all Russians who have antibodies can receive a QR code.
On the same day, the head of Chuvashia, Oleg Nikolaev, instructed to launch a regional QR-coding system for people with high antibody titers within a week. The head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs of the republic, Kristina Mainina, added that the solution could be the creation of a regional resource where a citizen can enter an identifier assigned based on the results of an antibody analysis and receive a QR code.
In turn, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the idea of the authorities of Chuvashia, said that consultations of specialists and Rospotrebnadzor are necessary in this matter. According to him, initiatives of such a plan are first subject to expert study, since there are many nuances in them and everything needs to be carefully worked out.
Against the background of a worsening epidemiological situation, the Russian authorities are urging residents to get vaccinated in order to protect their health and take care of their loved ones. Citizens are vaccinated for free. Five vaccines against coronavirus have been registered in the country: Sputnik V, which became the first vaccine against COVID-19 in the Russian Federation and the world, as well as Sputnik Light, EpiVacCorona, EpiVacCorona-N and KoviVak.
