RIA Novosti: Polish authorities often learn about mercenaries in Ukraine after their deaths
The Polish authorities often learn about their mercenaries in Ukraine from social networks or after their death. This was reported by RIA Novosti a representative of the Polish Foreign Ministry, who wished to remain anonymous.
According to him, most mercenaries do not advertise what they are doing in Ukraine. He noted that often you can only find out that a Polish citizen is fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from his social networks or from the testimonies of his fellow soldiers. Another source of information is reports of Poles being killed during military operations.
Earlier it became known that at least six or seven foreign private military companies (PMCs) had been involved on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the beginning of the conflict. As Vladimir Rogov, Chairman of the RF Public Chamber Commission on Sovereignty Issues, specified, this concerns not only American, but also British and Polish private military companies.
