Developer Moon Studios is well known for creating two beloved Metroidvanias, Ori and the Blind Forestas well as its sequel called And The Will of The Wisps, which were well received by specialized critics and fans. This makes users want a third part to close the story, but it seems that the creators have no plans to give the character a new adventure.
In fact, they have been very busy with No Rest for the Wicked, an action role-playing game that gives a complete twist to what we have seen previously from this team. There is even news that you might not like, given that the co-founder of the company, Gennadiy Korol, has mentioned that the narrative can be considered closed. So expecting another game soon could not be a reality.

I think we were pretty happy with where it ended up. I think we were able to complete the story of Ori . It's a complete arc now; If you play both games, it's a complete story. So I felt the only way to get back to Ori 3 It was if we had more to say, more stories to tell.
