The blocking of content and software in Russia is still going on. Now, it was recently revealed that Niantic, responsible for pokemon go and Pikmin Bloom, have teamed up with companies like Nintendo, CD Projekt Red, Apple, Microsoft and many more, and has decided to suspend its services in Russia and Belarus.
In his statement, Niantic hopes that a solution to this problem will be found soon., in order to end the suffering of the people of Ukraine. This was what was mentioned about it:
“We support the world community in its hope to find a speedy solution to the violence and suffering in Ukraine. Niantic video games will not be available for download in Russia and Belarus, and access to them will be suspended shortly.”

This means that pokemon go will stop working in Russia. On the other hand, let’s remember The Pokémon Company donated $200 thousand dollars to organizations who are looking after the well-being of the people in Ukraine. We can only wait and see if more companies join these blocks.
On related issues, Russia is considering decriminalizing pirated software. Similarly, Nintendo has suspended the distribution of its products in Russia.
