Yesterday, the NieR community was shocked when a video of a never-before-seen area of Automaton was shared. Although there are still people who doubt the veracity of this content, there are others who believe that this is one of the many ways in which Yoko Taro, creator of the series, plays with the public. Regardless of what the truth is for the time being, A new look at this never-before-seen area was recently shared.
The user who originally shared the video of the secret zone has revealed a little more about this place. The church has an initial cinematic and a couple of items. Along with this, 24 hours have passed since this discovery, and no one has managed to access this part of the map in a natural way.
The user has posted a follow-up video showing the secret area in far more detail. It features an unseen cutscene on top of everything else. The voice-over used is recycled from elsewhere in the game. The game also for some reason has the “item” and “door” arrow prompts disabled. pic.twitter.com/UvDpTE2hQ0

Apparently, this area could well have been part of a side quest that was removed before the game was released, but the place was preserved. At the moment there is no official information from Yoko Taro, Square Enix or PlatinumGames that will clarify this great mystery, and it seems that this will continue for a while.
In related topics, you can learn more about this case here. In the same way, we tell you how it will run NieR: Automata on Nintendo Switch.
Editor’s note:
This is a big mystery, and a pretty interesting one. The tomb in the center of the church raises many more questions about the NieR universe and Drakengard, and the flower could very well be a reference to the latter. We can only wait for Yoko Taro himself to explain this situation.
