The cell phone is the most used medium for online purchases. This is what a survey carried out by Ebanx shows. According to the study, 59% of e-commerce purchases in Brazil were made by cell phone. In 2019, the percentage was around 15%.
The positive result followed the trend of Brazilian online retail, which also grew 41% this year, according to the same survey.

The PIX – instant payment system – helps to increase mobile purchases by accounting for 6% of e-commerce payments. It is worth remembering that this Monday (29) the PIX Saque and the PIX change were made available. The estimate is that the PIX alone will move around R$53 billion in online payments this year.
The study considered all payments through the PIX made over the internet in different sectors (retail, online games, travel and digital services) made by approximately 350 thousand people on the Ebanx platform until the month of September.
Another survey, carried out by Neotrust, showed that until 7:00 am on Friday (29), purchases made through e-commerce had already totaled 2.93 million orders. What has already represented a turnover of more than R$1.8 billion — about 3% higher than the same period last year. The information is from the Olhar Digital website.
