in Helsinki a 40-year-old man who was reported missing last fall has been found dead, the Helsinki Police Department announced on Saturday.
At the end of November, the police informed about the missing man, who was last seen in Töölö a couple of days earlier.
A man has now been found dead in the water in the Seurasaari area.
On-duty investigation director, crime commissioner Hannu Kortelainen according to so far it is not known when the man ended up in the water.
“Determining the cause of death may answer this question,” Kortelainen tells STT.
According to him, an outdoorsman found the body.
The police are investigating the case as a cause of death investigation. Based on the current information, no crime is suspected in the case.
