The State of Kuwait welcomed the UN Security Council’s condemnation of the Houthi terrorist militia’s attacks on the UAE. In a statement, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s welcome to the statement issued yesterday by the Security Council unanimously, in which it condemned the attacks of the terrorist Houthi militia on facilities in the United Arab Emirates.
The ministry explained that the issuance of this statement confirms the seriousness of the Houthi militia’s behavior that threatens peace and security, and the Security Council’s interest in this issue and its follow-up. The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry called on the council to redouble its efforts to pressure the Houthi militia to respond to the calls for a ceasefire and positive interaction with the efforts of the United Nations and its envoy to Yemen, paving the way for the resumption of political consultations between the Yemeni parties, leading to the desired political solution in accordance with the three agreed references, the Gulf initiative and its implementation mechanisms. and the outcomes of the National Dialogue and Security Council Resolution No. 2216. At the conclusion of its statement, the Ministry affirmed the State of Kuwait’s support for all efforts made by the international community to reach this solution.
