CDMX.- Tens of thousands of people, including journalists, politicians, influencers and personalities from the artistic world participated in a TwitterSpace as support to the journalist Carlos Loret de Mola, who has been disqualified multiple times by the president of Mexico Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO).
With a broadcast that presented “We are all Loret. They are not going to shut us up”, more than 64 thousand people listened simultaneously the position of characters from different areas who agreed on something: the importance of defend freedom of expression.
For more than four hours, communicators of the stature of Gerardo Velázquez de León, Cynthia Urías, Mónica Garza, Jorge Pietrasanta, Raúl Ortiz, Javier Matuk, Mariel Ibarra, Rebeca Mangas, Raymundo Rivapalacio, Guillermo García, among many others from Mexico and Spanish-speaking countries that were in favor of Loret de Mola.

A journalist who took the voice to launch a strong message was the recently mentioned Mariel Ibarra, who quoted a phrase said by the former editor of the Washington Post, Martin Baron, during the administration of Donald Trump: “We are not at war, we are not enemies, we just do our job.”
“We must take on a task, we must convey to society that we are not enemies of the president but that we must defend freedom of expression,” said the information professional.
Another relevant character who spoke on Twitter Space was the former rector of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), José Narro Robles, who expressed his support for Carlos Loret de Mola and to all the people who have a hard time in the administration of AMLO.
“Mexico does not deserve what is happening, my complete solidarity to all those who have been affected in multiple fields: insecurity, unemployment, education, health,” said the former politician of the Ministry of Health.
Politicians such as Margarita Zavala, wife of Felipe Calderón, Yucatecan Senator Jorge Carlos Ramírez Marín, Kenia López Rabadán, Senator Xóchitl Gálvez Ruiz, among many others, also participated in the Twitter broadcast.
Influencers like Juan Domínguez Bertheau (Berth Oh), Gabriel Montiel (Werevertumorro), Mau RG 1; celebrities such as Marco Antonio Solís, Lupita Jones, Celia Lora, Claudia Álvarez, Anette Michel, among many others were also part of the event in favor of Carlos Loret de Mola.
