The Israeli Army announced this Monday (3) the death of four more Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip and reported that their bodies are being held in the Palestinian enclave by the terrorist group Hamas.
The dead, according to Israel, are Haim Perry (80 years old), Yoram Metzger (80), Amiram Cooper (85) and Nadav Popplewell (51). They were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists during the Palestinian group’s attacks against Israel on October 7, 2023.
The main military spokesman, Daniel Hagari, confirmed the news at a press conference in which he said the four died “a few months ago” in Khan Younis, in the south of the enclave, without offering further details.
To date, Israel believes that 41 of the approximately 120 hostages still held captive by Hamas are dead. During the October attacks, Palestinian terrorists captured more than 200 people, some of whom were released during the November truce. (With EFE Agency)
