State Duma deputy Wasserman: the mass brawl in Odessa occurred due to mobilization
The mass brawl that occurred in Odessa between military personnel and civilians is associated with measures to mobilize the Ukrainian population. About it told State Duma deputy Anatoly Wasserman in a comment to NEWS.ru.
“I will assume that one of the reasons for the mass fight between the military and civilians in Odessa was forced mobilization or, as it is called, “grave,” he emphasized, noting that many Odessa residents “do not want to die” for Ukraine.
The deputy also recalled that since 2014, the Ukrainian military has become accustomed to harsh actions against civilians, so a variety of contradictions could lead to a fight involving a large number of people. The Ukrainian military, according to Wasserman, “see nothing wrong with the robberies and beatings” in Odessa.
Earlier in the morning, the Strana.ua publication reported a mass brawl in the Odessa resort area of Arcadia. It was clear from photographs taken at the scene that there were significantly more civilians involved in the incident than military personnel.
