The creator of Gran Turismo Kazunori Yamauchiin an interview with released a Game Watchrevealed that a theme has been chosen for the next Gran Turismo game and that work on the new chapter in the series is already underway. Unsurprisingly, work has already begun on the next installment of the Gran Turismo franchise, especially considering the length of time between Gran Turismo 7 and Gran Turismo Sportt. The latter was launched in 2019 while Gran Turismo 7 in 2022. Given such timelines, it’s no surprise that Polyphony Digital is already working on the new chapter of the series.
In any case, 2023 will be quite a big year for the franchise as a version of Gran Turismo 7 will be released for the Playstation VR2 when the device will be launched the February 22nd.
