The Giro d’Italia 2024 ends today 26 May with the 21st and final stage, 126 km with departure and arrival in Rome for the final catwalk before the coronation of Tadej Pogacar. The Slovenian, pink jersey for practically the entire race, is on his way to finishing as a dominator after 6 stage victories. In the shadow of the Colosseum, I arrive in the sprint with the spotlight on Jonatan Milan, chasing his fourth victory.
We start from Eur and head towards Casalpalocco to arrive on the Ostia seafront. Then, return to the heart of the city and from km 49 off to the 9.5 km city circuit to be repeated 8 times on asphalt and stretches of cobblestones.
The stage on TV and streaming
The twenty-first stage of the Giro d’Italia will be broadcast live on free-to-air TV and in streaming. Rai will talk about the day of the second stage in free-to-air broadcast every day of the race. The television day will begin with an hour of ‘Giro Mattina’ on Rai Sport HD, which will then offer ‘Prima direct’ to follow the start of the stage, scheduled for today at 3.35pm. Arrival is expected between 6.30pm and 7pm.
