European stock markets rising: Paris +0.46%. Milan the best (+0.75%)
Opening higher for European stock exchanges after last week’s turbulence. These were days marked by the European elections which saw the affirmation of the far right in France and Germany. French President Emmanuel Macron dissolved the National Assembly and called new elections on June 30 and July 7. Paris, after the first trading, gained 0.46%, Frankfurt 0.42%, London 0.23%.
Milan is the best place: the Ftse Mib starts trading by rising to 32,910 points, with an increase of 0.75%. Paris (+0.33%) and Frankfurt (+0.34%) also did well, with London at the same levels (+0.34%).
The spread between BTPs and German Bunds narrows to 153 points
The spread between German 10-year BTPs and Bunds narrows to 153 points from 157 at Friday’s closing. The Italian annual yield is stuck at 3.91%, the German one recovers to 2.38 percent.
