The Ministry of Education reported that international tests support the achievement of the UAE Vision 2071 in education for the future.
The international tests include “PISA”, “TIMSS”, and “PIRLS”, indicating that “PISA” is the study of the International Program for Student Assessment, and is applied every three years to students aged 15 years, in the fields of reading, mathematics and science.
The UAE participates in the PISA study among 80 countries worldwide, and the study is supervised by the Economic Cooperation Organization (OECD).
The Ministry pointed out that the date of the main study for the PISA 2022 student assessment is approaching, calling for readiness to participate in representing the UAE in the study.
She stated that the period set for this is from April 18 to May 31, and it includes testing in public and private schools, and it applies to all students born in 2006.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Education and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, in coordination with the main partners, began implementing the national protocol for the operation of educational facilities for the academic year 2021-2022.
The new update stipulated allowing the return of all activities and events in educational facilities, with a commitment to wearing masks in closed places, and allowing parents to attend various activities for students, provided that they adhere to preventive measures, such as wearing masks in closed places, and working with the green traffic system.
