The Roads and Transport Authority completed internal road and lighting works in the first, second, third, fourth and fifth industrial areas in Al Qusais, which included the implementation of 32 roads with a length of ten kilometers, and lighting with a length of approximately 43 thousand metres. The project contributed to increasing the capacity of the roads by 200%, as it increased from 500 vehicles. per hour in both directions, to 1,500 vehicles per hour in both directions.

He added: The internal roads project in Al Qusais Industrial Area 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 contributed to linking Al Qusais Industrial Areas, which are served by four main streets, namely Amman Street, Beirut Street, Aleppo Street, and Damascus Street, and improving the entrances and exits, leading to more than 320 workshops. And 25 residential buildings, shops, and educational areas. The population density in the area is estimated at about 60 thousand people.
Completed projects
The Roads and Transport Authority recently completed internal road and lighting works in four residential areas, namely Margham, Lahbab, Al-Lisili and Hatta, with a total length of 35 km. The authority has begun implementing additional road works in the Lahbab and Al-Lisili areas to meet the needs of the residents.
The road works completed in the Margham area included the implementation of 5 km of roads, in the area located on Dubai-Al Ain Road, near Skydive Dubai, and the project serves more than 1,100 people residing in that area.
In the Lahbab area, four-kilometre-long roads were paved, and lighting works were carried out for the existing roads in the Lahbab area on Dubai-Hatta Road, next to the two-kilometre-long Lahbab camel racing track. Al-Lisili
The length of the roads implemented in the Al-Lisaili area was approximately seven kilometers, and lighting works were also implemented for the existing roads in the Saih Al-Salam area near Last Exit and Al Qudra Lakes, with a length of more than 7 kilometers. Hatta
In the Hatta region, two-kilometre-long roads were implemented in the Suhaila area in Hatta, in addition to infrastructure works that included the establishment of a rainwater drainage network and street lighting works. The project serves about 6 thousand people living in those areas, and the project contributes to improving entrances and exits.
