Fonda says that she is suffering from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma type of lymph node cancer.
American actress and activist Jane Fonda said on Friday that he had cancer and had started chemotherapy treatments. An actor’s Instagram post according to him, he has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma-type lymph node cancer.
Oscar-winning Fonda says that cancer is very treatable and that 80 percent of those who get it get better.
“I’m lucky because I have health insurance and access to the best doctors and treatment,” Fonda said.
The 84-year-old actor is known as a supporter of the US Democratic Party. He has also been in the public eye for his climate activism.
Fonda says in her release that she will not let the disease and the treatments she tolerates well affect her climate campaigning.
“We live in the most significant time in human history because what we do or don’t do right now will determine what the future holds,” Fonda wrote.
