Sinaloa.- In its report this Monday, February 28, the Sinaloa Ministry of Health announced that there were 99 new infections and zero deaths by covid-19 in the state, which remains at the epidemiological yellow traffic light.
The agency reported a historical accumulated of 113 thousand 314 confirmed cases and a total of 9 thousand 631 deaths as a result of the coronaviruswhich currently continues to concern many countries in the world, with what is the omicron variant.

It was also reported that 27 new cases were detected from private laboratories, these are counted apart from those registered on the platform of the entity’s health services.
The 99 new infections occurred in the municipalities: Ahome, 69; Culiacan, 27; Guasave, 2, and Rosario, 1. The good news of the day was that another 558 people were discharged, a total of 108,048 patients recovered after testing positive for coronavirus.

The agency reported that there are 2,369 suspected cases in the state, where Culiacán ranks first with 1,088; Mazatlán is in second, with 760, and Ahome is in third, with 263.
