Ia Tijani said: “We are proud of Cameroon’s participation in this important event, Expo 2020 Dubai.. The general slogan of the Expo “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future” is in line with the theme of Cameroon’s participation, which is “Cameroon and the challenges of climate change”, which is fully in line with the sustainable development goals, which we hope achieving it by 2030. After the official speeches in Al Wasl Square, the audience enjoyed a cultural performance by the National Ballet of Cameroon on the Platform of Nations, which included music and folk dances from the country, which reflected the culture of Cameroon. The presentation carried a message to the world about the importance of developing strategies to reduce the production of greenhouse gases that lead to global warming and exacerbate natural disasters.
The Cameroon Pavilion, located in the Opportunity Zone, invites visitors to discover a land of stunning scenery and languages of more than 200 languages, and offers visitors a “microscopic experience of Africa” to learn about the geographical, cultural and human diversity that characterizes Cameroon.
