Al-Orouba succeeded in overcoming the 50-point barrier, after coming from behind against its guest, Al-Rams, with an Amegiro Christopher goal in the 20th minute, to a 3-1 victory, thanks to Faberco Fernandez’s “double” goals in the 67th and 93rd minutes, and Facundo in the 77th minute, raising the leader Al-Orouba’s score to 52 points, while Al-Rams, which played its first match under the leadership of Moroccan coach Said Chekhit, remained in last place with 6 points.
United clinched third place, with a late victory over its guest Al Dhaid, with a goal by Luis Marcelo in the 94th minute, raising its score to 33 points, by the difference in the matches against its rival Al Dhafra, who fell to fourth place, by losing at home to its guest Masafi 1-2, and Pedro Pavlov opened the scoring for the hosts in the match. The 25th minute, and the visitors came back with goals from Lavisa Kevin in the 37th minute, and Adiba James in the 39th minute.
The round began on Thursday with Dibba Al-Hisn, the “runner-up,” defeating its host, Al-Jazira Al-Hamra, 2-1, while Al-Fujairah won the confrontation against Gulf United, 2-0, and Al-Hamriya defeated its guest, Al-Arabi, 3-1.
