Al-Nassr is very interested in the signing of Miralem Pjanić

Xavi Hernández has managed to bring together the pieces that he thought were appropriate to form one of the strongest midfielders in the world.

He has got rid of some footballers who had not reached the necessary level and would have managed to get six players for three positions, that is to say double each and every one of the midfield positions.

This would have caused a player, who a priori seemed to have a place, to run out of options to be minimally important for the club. In this case we are talking about Miralem Pjanic.

In recent days, different teams from all over the planet have been interested in a possible transfer, or even purchase, of the Bosnian midfielder. Barça wants to let him go but not at any price. Olympique de Lyon was the one that seemed to take the lead in this matter, but during the last few hours Al-Nassr has joined forcefully.

The Saudi team is trying to achieve a transfer in which it would assume 70% of Pjanić’s salary, while Barça would have to continue paying that 30%. The culés do not see it with bad eyes although they prefer a transfer to get rid of the player definitively.

An important fact that makes the balance tip for the Saudi club instead of the French entity is that the market in the Asian country does not close until September 17.

It’s a shame because the Bosnian had convinced Xavi during the pre-season that he had enough level to be moderately useful for the team.

The problem is that Sergio Busquets is the starter and Frenkie de Jong is his replacement, Pedri has Pablo Torre and Gavi’s replacement would be Franck Kessié.

Nico Gonzalez already found himself without a place and asked to leave on loan to Valencia. Pjanic has realized that those six footballers are ahead of him and he would not look badly on leaving the culé team as long as it is to a club that guarantees him minutes.
