A Russian travel blogger visited Europe and described it with the phrase “I want old age like theirs.” She shared her experience on her personal blog called “Like Travel Travel” on the platform “Zen”.
According to the author of the publication, the first thing she noticed was the lack of vegetable gardens among pensioners in European countries. “Personally, I am not close to the ideology of my grandmother, who literally “plows” the garden from the end of spring until the fall, so that everything is her own,” she noted.

Another point that distinguishes Russian pensioners from European ones is the habit of helping children, even when they themselves need help. “I’ve already said several times that even my grandmother, who has been retired for a long time, always asks if I need help with money, although she doesn’t really have any,” the blogger explained, noting that the child must earn money on his own.
The tourist also admired the habit of Europeans not to count on retirement, but instead to save and invest. “In fact, the more I communicated with foreigners, the more I was surprised at their financial literacy and ability to distribute money in such a way that there were always deposits in their accounts,” the traveler concluded.
Earlier, the same travel blogger named things that are unacceptable for men in Uzbekistan. In particular, she noted that in this country it is not customary for a man to communicate with a woman who has a husband.
