A Finnish journalist called on his colleagues from Europe to act after the shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Tokmak
As a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Tokmak, a house was destroyed. Finnish journalist Kosti Heiskanen arrived at the scene of the shelling, he shared his impressions of the destruction, calling on his foreign colleagues to action, writes RIA News.
“If they have even the slightest conscience, they should come and see how the civilian population is being dealt with,” he noted.
The journalist recorded an appeal in Finnish, German, and Russian to ambassadors and Western journalists. Heiskanen urged them to come and see how Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters destroy civilians.
He emphasized that Western silence on this matter is a shame and disgrace, and that those responsible for what happened will be held accountable.
The day before it was reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at a residential high-rise building in the Zaporozhye region. Thus, the city of Tokmak came under fire. As a result of the shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to preliminary data, at least three people were injured.
