AfD member Beck doubted that the xenophobic party was connected with German politics
Member of the European Parliament from the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party Gunnar Beck doubted that the recent xenophobic party in Germany was connected with politics. He talked about this REN TV.
“I doubt this is about politics. But at the same time, this is unacceptable behavior,” he said.
According to Beck, an investigation is currently underway and it is impossible to say anything for sure. He said that among the event participants the German authorities would be looking for supporters of the AfD party.
Beck added that in Germany a large percentage of the population is dissatisfied with the government’s policies, since “the government’s policies on climate, migration and Ukraine are absolutely abnormal.”
On May 24, a scandal broke out in Germany around a xenophobic party in the famous Pony bar, located in the Kampen community on the island of Sylt. A crowd of “obviously very rich young people” shouted Nazi slogans, yawned and sang “Germany for Germans, foreigners out!”
