A family of three died from carbon monoxide poisoning in Tula. This was reported on January 20 by the investigative department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the region.
It is noted that the bodies of a man born in 1977, his wife born in 1980 and their daughter born in 2006 were found in an apartment on Academician Pavlova Street. According to preliminary data, they were poisoned by carbon monoxide.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, resulting in the death of two or more persons through negligence”).
The circumstances of the incident are currently being established and the necessary forensic examinations have been ordered.
Earlier, on January 9, it became known that a young woman died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning in an apartment on Svobody Street in Tula. A criminal case has been opened.
