Destiny 2: The Queen of Whispers arrives today, and in this article we want to prepare you for the expansion by explaining all the steps to take in the new expansion of the well-known game.
Preparation for Day 1
Equipment
The first thing to do to start the experience of Destiny 2: The Queen of Whispers and tidy up your equipment. Since, however, you will have to play the game first with one character and then, if necessary, with the others, you should remove the equipments from the other two characters and put them in the vault, so as to make the grip more comfortable. Remember that with the new expansion there are also problems with inventory management apps, so you should anticipate.
To complete the various missions, we suggest you bring a few weapons so that you have room for drops. If so, we suggest you have the Gjallarhorn (from 30 years of Bungie), a pair of Linear Fusion Rifles, and if you want a melee sword too. Among other weapons, we recommend that you bring Arbalest and at most one other automatic rifle (both primary and secondary). In this way you will have everything you need to survive without having all the space occupied.
Consecutively also check your armor, especially as regards the mods and damage resistance of various kinds, perhaps even keeping a couple in reserve. In short, just keep your character ready for when you log in having a good variety of weapons and a decent amount of space for new gear.
BE CAREFUL to check that your secondary characters are not in possession of some crucial and important weapons, and put them in the warehouse.
Materials from the gunsmith
Be sure to turn the materials at the Gunsmith to get something useful, and most importantly to have pockets full of power-up modules, prisms (if you can) and Ascending Shards. While you will take the new weapons, you can also opt to upgrade some of the ones you have and will want to take with you in the early stages (no more than a couple, avoid upgrading everything that happens). We remind you that some useful operations of this type can be carried out by the Cryptarchthe Master Rahool.
Always keep an eye on the Lumen, stock up on this too, perhaps by selling materials from the Spider. Make sure you reach the maximum you can hold (250,000).
Warehouse
Fix it as best you can, especially if you have several copies of the same weapon. Based on the ones you really want to keep (sometimes legendaries are kept just for a matter of perk variety), and keep an eye on exotic armaments, and armor stats. Remember that destroying the items in the warehouse can also be useful for the phase we talked about, which is to get the weapon parts or other.
It could be a frustrating but essential operation, especially thanks to the amount of content you will get.
Activities from Day 1 of Destiny 2: The Whispering Queen
Clearly the first thing you will do, as it always happens on new startup DestinyAnd watch the new cinematic and play the first mission of the campaigntherefore, everything you do will be after the mission.
Wraith of the Ghost
From this point of view, the simplest thing to do is to maximize the Ghost Envelope, which will give you 12% at the last level (except for last minute changes), useful for the new campaign.
Artifacts
Throw yourself headlong into campaign missions, and during the early stages you will surely get your artifact. Make sure you get it BEFORE redeeming any completed bounties or pretty much anything else, as all the experiences and activities you do will then be channeled there. Make sure you do as many tasks as possible and complete the artifact as soon as possible.
Experience Bonuses, Bounties and Season Pass
Before redeeming bounties, check what the rewards are. If you have some that have not been redeemed, it can be a good idea to redeem ones that contain XP + for have an additional boost in character growth, in combo with the Ghost. Another experience boost comes with the Season Pass Bonus, so make sure you get the rewards and bonuses periodically.
This will also allow you to get the welcome pack as in every season faster, which contains important armaments.
After you have the artifact, you will be able to start redeeming the bounties earned, except Crucible, Gambit, Gunsmith and Vanguard. Once you have reached the soft cap of 1500 you can start with Crucible, Gambit, Gunsmith and Vanguard, so that you can then carry on the weekly bounties.
Legendary Campaign
This is one of the innovations introduced by Bungie. The advice is to take it as soon as possibleas it will give you 8 pieces of good upgrade or armament (basically infusion material too), and you can make a quick jump from soft cap to 1500 to level 1520.
Weekly Challenges
Once this is done, dedicate yourself to your weekly challenges (complete the legendary campaign first! because the 20 points of difference will be very useful for their completion).
ATTENTION, SPOILER: the feature that we describe below you will discover at the end of the campaign, so continue reading only if you are aware of this.
Red-bordered weapons (required for Weapon Crafting)
The weapons with the red border (meaning the box) are the ones you will use for unlock crafting weapons, so avoid deleting them, keep them! It is currently not known how the process will work, much less how frequent the drop of this type of weapons is, so keep them for now, and we will find out later how to exploit them: for now we only know that they are the only weapons capable of give you the Perks for crafting.
