Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- A tree on fire and another fallencaused various damages in the Pueblo Nuevo neighborhood in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, this Friday afternoon.
The events occurred at the height of Centauro del Norte and Lucio Blanco streets, and originated from inside the “General Ignacio Zaragoza” Primary School. The trees mentioned are within the campus.
On the site it was seen that a rather dry old tree, was on fireattached to the rear fence of the elementary school, and to one side, a leafy tree had collapsedand its heavy branches pulled overhead wiring and a wooden pole broke completely from Telmex.

In their fall, the cables and pole caused some minor damage to a white Nissan Tiida car parked at the site.
Elements of the Veterans Fire Department of Mazatlán came to put out the flames inside the primary and made the call for the Federal Electricity Commission, Telmex and companies that provide services through cables attached to the aforementioned wooden posts. No injuries were reported.
The owner of the affected Nissan car told an insurance company representative that it appears they were carrying out cleaning and maintenance work inside the primary schoolwhich apparently was the source of all the problems.
They had to close the passage through Calle Centauro del Norte so that the firefighters could do their work. Elements of Municipal Civil Protection also attended.

Also this Friday afternoon, a vehicle knocked down a telephone pole and caused the blockade of Observatory Street for more than an hour.

This accident occurred along the Paseo del Centenario, in the southern part of Mazatlan, near the lighthouse area. It was detailed that apparently the person in charge was a precolados truck, which fled from the site.
