“We are monitoring and we see that there is an occurrence of imported cases [омикрон-варианта]so they localize quickly. But there are cases of infection with the omicron strain on the territory of the Russian Federation today, ”he said during a visit to the new Don Infectious Disease Center.
Murashko also noted that the Ministry of Health is currently developing new recommendations for the treatment of coronavirus infection caused by infection with the omicron strain.

Most of all new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Moscow. In the Russian capital, 2,714 cases of infection have been identified.
