The crisis of the airline Itapemirim (ITA) left more than 45 thousand passengers without travel at the end of the year. Of this total, only 25,000 managed to relocate to flights from other companies or were reimbursed. The information is from TV Globo.
In a judicial recovery process, with debts of R$ 253 million with creditors and R$ 2.2 billion in tax debts, Itapemirim suspended all flights at the end of the year. Notified by Procon of São Paulo, the company can still be fined R$ 11 million.

There was a lot of complaints and turmoil at the Cumbica International Airport, in Guarulhos (SP) this Tuesday morning (21). The main problems registered were difficulties in checking in via mobile apps, long lines and overbooking – airlines sold more tickets than seats on the flight.
According to the report, passengers face problems rescheduling flights for both Gol and Latam. While the first blamed the rains in recent days, the second declared the need to delay some flights due to international connections.
Last Friday’s storm (17) brought down the airport’s runway lighting system.
