Tonight it will be broadcast State of PlaySony’s PlayStation event. What will be shown? We have no confirmation, but the PlayStation Store comes to our aid, which has just opened a “State of Play” section, at least in the Japanese version of the digital store.
Through this we can see that the games selected for the category are as follows:
- ASTRO-BOT
- The Last of Us Part I
- Stellar Blade
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- LEGO Horizon Adventures
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge
- Monster Hunter Wilds
- Metro Awakening
- Dynasty Warriors: Origins
- FANTASIAN Neo Dimension
- Fear the Spotlight
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard
- Sonic X Shadow Generations
- Alan Wake II
- Hell is Us
What does this PS Store page mean?
Now, the list shouldn’t be read as a list of games that are sure to be show yourself this evening. For example, it would make sense to see Astro Bot even though it has already been released (a confirmation of upcoming content or just a celebratory trailer?) but it seems a little pointless that there would be room for a game like The Last of Us Part 1, which is a remake that has long been released on PC.
At the same time, it is believable that at least some of these are actually games that will be shown. According to Gematsu, the games on this list but never included in a State of Play are: Horizon Zero Dawn, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, FANTASIAN Neo Dimension, Fear the Spotlight, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and Hell is Us, so it is more believable that these are part of the show.
It should also be noted that this list certainly cannot include unannounced games, since they do not have a product page on the PS Store, so it is impossible to know what the real novelties planned for the event are. What are your expectations about it?
